1972-1973 – Oberlin Improvisation Group – Member of Dancer & Musician Collaboration

1973 – Allen Art Museum – Oberlin, Ohio – Planned Art Activities for Elementary School Children

1975 – Ben Fernandez Photo-Film Workshop – New York City – Taught Basic Photography to High School students, co-planned curriculum; Photography Included in traveling exhibit

1975 – Visual Studies Workshop – Rochester, New York
Collaborated on Children’s Workshop with theme of exploring the senses

1976-1977 – Lexington School for The Deaf & Lexington group-home – New York City –
Initiated projects using 35mm camera and darkroom work to develop communication skills & encourage self expression

1979-present – ASL Interpreting of studio art and theory classes – facilitate art workshop participation for deaf and deafblind people, at Cooper Union (NYC), Parson’s School of Design (NYC), Pratt (NYC), School of Visual Arts (NYC), UC Berkeley (CA), Studio One (CA), Laney College, Chabot College, and Creative Growth (CA)

1988-1995 – Centro Infantil (Child Development Center) – Oakland – ongoing event photography and informal portraits of children and family members

1990’s – The Depot (Center for Creative Reuse) – participated in parent/child art workshops using recycled materials and found objects

1995 – La Escuelita (Oakland) – produced word-photo book for Sarita’s 3rd grade class

2002-2003 – Artship Oakland – interpreted ribbon cutting ceremony for wheelchair lift onto the ship; member of Universal Design Committee, with the mission of fostering maximum access to artship creative projects

2005 – Blind at the Museum – U.C. Berkeley Art Museum – attended two day conference on visual impairment, art, access and role of the viewer

2005 – Veteran Building – Oakland, California – Ballroom Dance for Blind and visually-impaired – partnered with deaf blind dancer for weekly dance sessions

2006 – Margins and Mainstream – Disability Art Today – Oakland, California – attended 3 day symposium organized by Creative Growth Art Center, co-sponsored by Folk Art Museum – NYC

2007 РAcupressure Institute РBerkeley, California РGuide Dog Acupressure Project with deaf-blind woman and created shiatsu sequence for her guide-dog

2011 – Telegraph Lofts Oakland – hosted origami birthday party for deaf-blind celebrant

2012 – FIREHOUSE.ART.COLLECTIVE – Emeryville – designed drop-in hands-on art activities using found objects and re-purposed materials with emphasis on tactile experience

2012 – East Bay Meditation Center Fundraiser – Oakland, CA – Donated Large format B&W Prints, Photo Cards

2013 – Center for Independent Living Fundraiser – Photo Card Donation – Berkeley, CA

2013 – Golden Gate Audubon Society – Berkeley CA – Donated photo-cards of shorebirds and collaged upcycled folders

2013 – 2015 – Rock Paper Scissors Collective – Oakland – created and coordinated monthly cross generational mixed media collage workshops intentional inclusive of Deaf and deaf-blind communities

2015 – present – Rock Paper Scissors Collective – Oakland, – collective member with focus on accessibility

2016- 2017 РOakland Public library Main branch Рcontinued to host and coordinate public, accessible  mixed media collage workshops
